About Us

Blacksmithing has become a deep passion of mine. I began hammering as a means to relax and to try something new. In it I discovered a deep love and a purpose. I began making blades for soldiers, veterans and eventually was cast to be on Forged in Fire, History Channel. I met three new best friends who as far a bladesmithing, lets just say the last time I was that out classed was the day I got married. In the excitement of the show I ended up discovering the hardway an underlying medical condition, which is now being addressed. Hence Healing Heart forging.

Through this experience I have developed a simple idea and philosophy. By taking a piece of metal, through the deliberate actions of heating, hitting, bending, and twisiting a blacksmith stresses the metal into a new shape. This shape can become a tool to build, grow food, simplify life, or it can be shaped into a weapon. Like a civilian who enters basic training and through the stress of training, becomes a soldier. Once the need for the weapon/soldier is over then through reforging can become something else. Once again Healing Heart forging.

We will do workshops, individual instrucution, demosntrations as well as craft requested commissions. Our goal is to teach the moving art of blacksmithing as well as the art of self care and healing.
